Architects register here
To take part in a Tea with an Architect event in your area, all you need to do is commit a few hours of your time attending the event and answering questions from the public. It’s a great opportunity for you to market your services and champion the profession in your local community.
You can leave the rest to us. We’ll organise the event itself, and the publicity needed to get homeowners and homebuilders to attend.
If you’re interested, you’ll need to do two things.
First, complete the form below- THIS IS COMPULSORY FOR SIGN-UP
Then join www.inbuilding.org, the new community for architects, and make Gabrielle Omar a Colleague. Once a member of inbuilding.org, you’ll be able to connect with other architects that are taking part in this initiative, plus you’ll have a direct line to the organiser and you’ll be kept updated with all the latest developments.
If you already run a similar ‘meet an architect’ event in your local community and need help publicising it, email email@example.com and we’ll get in touch and tell you how we can help.
- Both the ARB and RIBA codes of professional conduct require practicing architects to have appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
- The Tea with an Architect scheme involves the provision of architectural services which brings potential liabilities in negligence and contract, and all participating architects must ensure they have adequate professional indemnity cover or are covered for this activity by professional indemnity insurance provided by their employer.
